Punto evo GP 1.4 multiair. New.......No asr off button......Shouldn't it have one??
According to the Fiat website the answer is yes it should.Punto evo GP 1.4 multiair. New.......No asr off button......Shouldn't it have one??
The pic is definitely of the ESP unit!.... I should know I took it ... plus the fact that the label says soYeah that unit is there but is it the ebd unit or the esp unit?
I,m looking at the various labels in the engine compartment and it looks like this car is over a year old!
In the March 2010 version of the brochure the esp/asr/hill holder are listed as options whereas now they are standard.
I'm trying to find out the build date of the car as I don't think it is "as described" in the current brochure and on the Fiat website.
Cheers. Chris K.

Oh well you learn something new every day.Its teh ABS modulator you have photographed (and on some cars it also does the ASR (supprisingly the ABS and ASR/ stability are basicly the same hardware set up) just with a few tweeks and software differences
take my 1.2 2006 active it also has what you have pictured.....
It gets better!!
The same modulator is fitted to my wifes "500".
I'll see what the dealer has to say tomorrow. Everything points towards this car being more than a year old. I don't want to be paying full price for a car which isn't as described in all their brochures.
Thanks again. Chris.
Nice one and a good resultThe dealer has, today, agreed to replace my car with a new one.
