When I was filling my stilo with petrol yesterday I pushed the fuel cap cover in as usual and the whole thing fell off leaving a big hole in the side of the car. The plastic had snapped and the retaining pin fell out. I always thought it felt very cheap, has anyone else ever had this problem? Its an 04 3dr.

Had the problem on an 02(52) model but the replacement, under warranty, was for more substantial and I imagine this is what you already had. Get it replaced under warranty.

Common problem,might take awhile though as dealer has to get flap painted.
