I've just failed my NCT on the fact that the tailgate catch on my Stilo Multiwagon is cracked.

Does anybody know if i can simply get any boot catch from a 5 door stilo and replace this.

Or is it only a multiwagon boot catch will do?

I'm talking about the metal piece which sticks out of the bottom of the tailgate which has a metal 'hook' which when released clasps onto the U shape metal inside the flap in the boot.

any helpers out there?

unbolt the "hook" and have it welded by a local mechanic or engineer lol.
