Hello :)

I´m from Argentina, i´ve got an Fiat 128. Its like the "Stationwagon" but 5 door :) build in Argentina.

Like this:

Well, here in Argentina "tuning" these cars is vey common.

I would like to do following changes:
First of all, its an 1300cc engine.

- Camshaft, L2 Balestrini.

AAA : 12.5º
RCA : 46.5º
AAE : 46.5º
RCE : 12.5º

10.5

- Fiat Uno - Carburator
TLDE 32/34

So...question is the following, 128s are known to "split", well the front part.

Considering i wont do much changes, what would you do to strengthen the front part?

Is something like this useful? recommended?

My Fiat es pretty ok, only one of the "punteras" (dont know how to translate, toe cap??) was soldered.

Thanxs!

That is a simple 'fix' I guess... You could also install a strut brace between the suspension towers. Most 128's that have been strengthened that I have seen have had steel welded to the chassis rails and around the swaybar attachments. Also a flange from the chassis rail to the firewall is a good idea too.

Hi, everyone!

My name is Ivan, I'm from Ukraine.
I have Fiat 128 Sport Coupe. There are 3 such cars in my country. That is why - it is really hard to find some parts here, in Ukraine.

I decided to sell it. I could not find the topic about selling or buying cars on this forum, that is why i"m wrytin here.

If enyone is interested - contact with me ([email protected])
