heres where i got mine from

search for ahm alfa,
http://www.alfacare.co.uk/Servicing/Clutchrep.htm
they were going to make one but hadnt yet when i ordered mine.

briefly 1 its expensive, 2 its noisier than dmf(when not in gear), 3 it loses momentum easier,4 expect more gearbox wear from increased vibrations and instant loading.
but 5 expect reliability at higher hp, 6 more rev happy.
hope this helps.

Hey Sussexa (no other name to address you),

If I've understood you right.. you reckon your Stilo's flywheel is going to need replacing?
If so, then I a have two questions:
What about the Clutch kit? Have you already replaced it?
How many miles have you done?

I need to know as my stilo's clutch is definitely in need of replacement (done 60,000 miles) so I don't want to leave the flywheel unattended if it will need replacing after 10,000 more miles or so; might as well get it done one time.

Would appreciate if you could share you views on this.

no, its already been replaced with the smf and clutch kit shown in the links above,(although c.g.motorsport relined the clutch disc as it was damaged in transit)
so far no issues(other than the points i listed), 10,000 miles on
i believe the dmf can be checked for excess wear/movement when clutch is being done.

if your not looking for high hp/nm i would stick to a dmf again.

it was all fitted at 25,000 miles, clutch slipped from 10,000 miles odd as soon as it was upped to 180hp 370nm when in 5th or 6th gear.
and hopefully will end up 200hp 440nm + so i chose smf.

oh and i definately recommend c.g.motorsport .

someone on alfa forum seems to have fitted a fiat coupe 20v turbo smf on his 8v jtd,if he posts any more info ill put it in here.
also have heard of dmf getting welded fixed and balanced.
also in my posts above some of the downsides are due to it being a lightweight smf(smf 8.2kg approx vs dmf 11kg approx).
