Right... getting there slowly but I need to know if I need to order another part

having got the wings off and the A section I think the sill protector goes over the top of this?
I ask as if this is the case I need to order a sill protector now at grate cost

So does this bit:



Go over this bit (which I have)



Honest to god I don't think there is going to be much left of this car soon! If I need this bit ill order the actual sill as well as it may as well be done

Yes the front part of the sill panel is the same as the bottom part of the A panel, if I remember correctly you can get just a sill skin without the A panel or rear quarter parts.

edit, Hi Panda, are you sure? I have it in bits in my garage and I can see there two different sections?

Yes I am definately sure. In the picture of the A panel, the bit with the arrow pointing to it is the same piece as the front part of the sill skin.

You can see the pannle peals off in to parts, the lower half looks like its glued on to the main A section







As it stands at the moment, Once you get down to it, the REALLY important bits are rust free, it looks worse than it is
