I have a 2003 2.0l JTD based motorhome & last week while driving the red air bag warning light came on the dash, I stopped turned engine off but when I went to restart all the warning lights came on the dash as normal, with the key in ignition posistion, except for the battery warning light, when I went to start up but the engine battery was completely flat. I had to be recovered home where i found that the alternator was not charging, so I fitted a new alternator & battery but I still have no battery warning light and no 12v feed to the D terminal on the alternator hence still no charge. I have checked all fuses and wires to starter where visable, took instrument panel apart hoping to find bulb but its sealed with LED's I & am now going bald pulling my hair out. If I flash a 12v feed to the alternator terminal above it starts charging at 14.2v so i know i haven't a duff alternator. Any help, wiring diagrams, or has anyone come across this problem.
