I also managed to do a wee bit of damage to one of my alloys on a mahoosive pot hole

 Not impressed!

I then decided to get some new plates

the front one is a self adhesive vinyl. Ordered from Crags plate, an Irish website.

Couple more reflection shots

A wee bit bumpy, needs machine polishing I think

Also Ordered a Shark Fin, after a little modding to boost reception it was on, aslo tinted the windows my self, dark smoke, 20% light transmission. i'll get it done professionally next year but for £6 I gave it a shot and it came out pretty well... eventually:rolleyes:

Thanks very much to SIS body repair in Stone, Stafford for a cracking job :D

need save some money for now but in the pipe line so far is as follows:-
  • new indicator bulbs
  • european reverse light with a red bulb in so the back end is symetrical-ish
  • vinyl bit behind sky dome (will be done this week)
  • either refurb alloys in anthracite or get some abarths
abarth_alloys.jpg

  • angel eyes, daylines without the led's or some "home made" gp s1 headlights taken apart sprayed black and a bi-xenon projector incorporated:rolleyes:
  • Remap next year!
  • Induction possibly GSR
  • Get the dash looking something similar to this

and who knows what else :)
comments welcome :)
Re: "Jess The Diesel Machine"

I'll be the first person to mention this...

Needs lowering on Eibachs, they seem to be the best.

I want to do this but the nose is now a couple of inches lower due to the airdam and the speed humps around here are quite fierce :/ will decide next year when funds allow

also white wheels (yummy )
nice project uve got there
ooooo white:idea:, hadn't even considered it. I was set with either refurb in anthracite, even though the mjet alloys are a right pain in the arse to clean. Or the abarths above.

Re: "Jess The Diesel Machine"

looks really good. Go for the esseesse 18" wheels or some 18" wheels and then lower it and it shouldnt matter to much about the air dam then, also the sporting springs are -20mm so the eibach are only in essence -30mm for the -50mm eibach sportlines.

defiently needs abarth headlamps, you can pick then up for around £250 :) look much better than the angeleyes and ull pay nearly the same for the S2 lamps.

Think you should de badge the rear aswell and have you thought about a bonnet wrap would look good with you black off the kit and some gloss black wingmirror caps to match (y)

Re: "Jess The Diesel Machine"

Looks good mate !!.Is that festival park and parkhall/buxton on them pictures ??? (y)
It's up the roaches and the winking man, decided go for a drive out up leek / buxton way then realised they've put an average speed camera limit of 50 along the cat and fiddle (a537) (n)

I was considerin 18" to compensate for the required higher ride height... however I've just managed to scrape the bottom of the nose using my drive way to do a 2 point turn :bang:

yeah the black bonnet looks good on "myatts" but I fear it wouldn't have the same contrast with the dark colour of the blue compared to myatts white one

I definately agree with the headlights... I hate the chrome bling but will definately have to wait til next year for them

Also I want to get rid of the Punto and just leave the P =D Just can't bring myself to do it just yet hehe

Thanks for the great comments guys (y)

Re: "Jess The Diesel Machine"

Also get a chrome coated glowing red bulb for your european reverse light as the red bulb can colour the clear reflector too much :D

PM me your address if you want and I'll post my ones to you as the EVO has a different fitment so couldn't use mine

And these wheels would look gorgeous on your car

Re: "Jess The Diesel Machine"

Jesus christ did you really need to quote all that :D ?
anywhooo...
The bumper I aquired from Cooks on here as he didnt want them.
However they can be brought direct from Fiat ... http://www.fiat-accessories.com/Fiat-Grande-Punto-Rear-Dam

it is just the lower part though like in one of my pictures.
I've had them smoothed into the existing bumper rather than just stuck on using "fiat adhesive kit"

I was thinking that myself. I would dread it, if someone did that on my thread as I have like 50 pictures on the initial post! haha

Looking sweet as buddy

Use Babelfish or google translate, to translate but you will have to sign up on the original website rather than through a translator :/
