I got a Brava 1.6 '96 which has central locking, but no alarm. So i bought a cheap alarm the other day and just now started reading the install instructions.
Basicly it's quite simple, but i would like to hook it up to the central locking system (as the car doesn't have remote central locking, it would be nice if the alarm could do locking and unlocking).

I have no idea where the controls for the centrallock is on the car. Where do i look and does anybody have a wiring diagram or something of it?

The alarm can be fitted with several central locking systems (it's a cheap alarm with instructions translated badly from chinese or something, so it doesn't really make much sense, but maybe i can try scanning the diagrams in the manual and posting it here - maybe somebody can find out how to wire it )

Locking is negative pulsed.

Here are the diagrams that came with the alarm (the instructions just says to follow the diagram )...
My haynes book doesnt have any wiring diagrams for the centrallocking (nor does the cars instructionbook), so basicly i have no idea about where and how i should connect the alarm to the central locking system...

Any help is appreciated...

If others have the same problem I found some links to guides for installing (different alarms, but it should be easy to figure out). They are for both Brava/o and Marea, but they have almost identical wiring.

Both work here...

Try the first ones without the login and password (alarm&varme:alarm&varme) in the URL and enter them when it asks for it... (They work directly in Firefox).

You'll probably also need a wiring diagram (the Haynes one isn't very good).

Windows up and runnig for 2 weeks was the problem a quick reboot and I got the PDFs

All wiring diagrams for Fiat Brava are welcome.

I got help form my friend who works as an installer. I got all the wiring papers but i did not copy them as i promised him. But even with all papers it wasnt easy as the colors did not match. I had to look for a 97 and 99 Brava wiring schemes to get all the right colors.

Really annoying and lucky for me I did not shortcut anything.

fit is behind the glovebox because the central locking relay is behind glovebox, so is a permanent live (for glovebox light) and it is easy to get a wire into the engine bay. then all you need to do is get a single wire to the hazard switch for the indicators. its the easiest way to do it. for wiring diagram see haynes manual.

if anyone needs help on central locking kits i wrote a rough guide. this guide relates to the ebay kits sold by 'rightclick2003' but it tells you which wires and where to do the wiring.

It was done on a 1997 1.6 bravo sx
