Hi,

I'm trying to remove the panel on the drivers side door of my 3-door 95 punto. However, I can't work out how to remove the window winding handle - in my Haynes manual it skips this step altogether and only talks about electric window models!

I can prise open a gap between the handle and the collar that sits against the door panel, and I see what could be the horseshoe bracket that I've been told about. But I can't work out how to remove it or what to do next.

I'd really appreciate any help with this problem - it's driving me nuts.

you get piece of rag and put it in the gap, then pull rag back and forth and the clip will ping off. to refit simply fit the clip to handle before fitting it then press handle on.

What? Just pull, it eventually comes off.

it eventually comes off..... with half in your hand, and half still on the door!

Mine came off fine (yes in 1 piece), I don't see what all the fuss is about :shakehead

there is a little clip that holds it on to the shaft behind the collar part, the prefered method of removal is to poke the clip off wiith a screwdriver.
