Hi all can any one help me with the speedo it is sticking at 40mph when you 1st start up

If cable operated, it'd be worthwhile trying a new cable. If digital (MPI cars) suspect the wiring to the speed sensor (on the differential) or the speed sensor itself.

Failing that, the unit is probably fubar, but if cable you might check that no grease has entered the unit. Either should be dirt cheap from a scrappy.
