Hey, everyone!

Me and my friend are going to Croatia, Split, next spring (end of April). We would like hire a car there. Never been there, what are the roads like? And driving my new-bought Fiat Punto, don't really know anything about other cars listed. Can anyone give advice?
The question is: should I take a known Fiat Punto or choose a cheaper car? Or is it it better to choose a better car?
