Hello from Italy,

I believe my mechanic installed my hand brake cables incorrectly. It appears the left and right cable were installed on the wrong side. He denies this. The adjustment braket is cocked at an extreme angle to the left, about 2 cms ahead of the right side. Also the cable end on the left side does not fit into the hand brake arm that is attached the brake shoe.

A picture from a punto repair manual would be great.

I'm an American living in Italy about 25 miles from where Puntos are made. I can find help here but I miss interaction with English speaking Gear heads.
