alright people, as u know i've got a mk2 uno turbo but i'm wanting to know what to do to it next! i already have:-

scorpion exhaust
HUGE volvo FMIC
induction kit
dump valve
samco hoses
polished/ported/skimmed head
lightened/balanced flywheel
slightly larger pistons
uprated spreso rasing head gasket
bleed valve (set between 16psi upto 22psi)
fse boost valve
spitfire leads and plugs
abarth steel billet cam
piper vernier pulley
piper cam belt
black diamond uprated clutch
uprated fuel pump
T2/T25 hybrid turbo
slightly lower compression

and probbably some other bits, but what do i do next?

can the 1.6 bottom end from a punto sporting be mated to the engine? also thinking of a T3 hybrid turbo, better management with a chip, anti-lag, 5th injector, ap racing paddle clutch, bigger forged pistons (cosworth or simlar) and bigger injectors (cosworth). do u think all this will run together? i'll be running about 30psi of boost.

help needed as i was a totally rapid uno turbo running about 250bhp

cheers

OK, well you can build up a 1580cc motor using the Tipo 1.6 motor as a base. You will need to do something about the fuelling, though. Have you done all this work yourself... if so I'm impressed... if you haven't, well I'm still impressed ;)

By the way I think we've met in person, I was at Santa Pod in August 2003 when the Turbo Collective boys organised a 'meet' there. I was driving a rented silver Punto.

I would do the following:
bigger turbo that can handle alot of boost.
Aftermarket ecu and bigger injectors.
And of course a better clutch..
Boost ~2 bar and you should be near 250 hp according of camspesc.

I have worned out two 3-paddle copperclutches with uprated pressureplates.
Now I have a aluminum AP clutch, can handle 620 Nm.

Why aquamist?

water/meth injection in my opinion is a last option..

+ lowers your charge temp : better with a high efficient intercooler.

- have to fill the extra tank
- If you tune your car with waterinjection engine can predetonate if you run out of water/meth.
- build higher backpressure with water/meth.

Don´t you have E85 in uk?
The best would be to tune your car on E85, you need ~30% more E85 than premium. So big injectors and a aftermarket ecu would do the job...

I am going to run my uno on 1008cc @3 bar injectors..
