Does anyone think that Photoshop could be used to make a colour wedding photograph black & white but with the confetti still coloured?

Not bother about time taken etc just wondered if it could be done, it'll make someone happy if it can.

Any ideas or advice appreciated.

Don't use PS much, if you can creat mask by colour it may say some time then you could just unmask anything else that happen to get selected when you select each confetti colour.

yeah if you select all the confetti and go to i think image/mode/grayscale or something like that then the colour should go but i dont know about the confetti but Neo's right if you find the mask for them then it is defo possible.

The question is, is there a quick way to mask the confetti or everything other than the confetti. If I had the pic I might be able to work out a quick way to do it, but probably not using PS.

how much confetti is there?????

cuz you could create a new layer, grayscale it, then with the lasso tool just go round the confetti, deleting each bit :)

i just did a rather quick one in PS for you
