Was looking to get something like this done. (It's just a quick photoshop, and not the exact style of grille i want)

I went to a bodyshop and asked the guy if it was possible to do it, like, filling in the curves from where the badge sits so that the top grille runs flat. He said he could do it, but after a short time the filling usually comes loose, and either cracks or falls off.

Is this bull****?

Nope!!!

Come and have a look at my wheel arch!!

Have you thought of buying some metal mesh and using Tiger Seal to fix it in place. Most of the mesh out there is the flimsy aluminimum crap that will bend when the first stone hits it. Try these guys http://www.lockwoodinternational.co.uk/ they only do one type, but it's the only steel mesh I've been able to track down.

I don't understand how y'all can't like the look of it.

Everyone I've shown in person has been really into it.
