Rought order of process.

- remove covers
- disconnect battery
- remove washer bottle
- move coolant bottle
- remove ecu
- remove one glow plug to aid engine turning over
- remove aux belt by removing bottom wheel with the 4 torx bolts in lots of tension in this so be carefull.
- remove timing belt cover
- line up timing marks
- slacken tensioner
- remove timing belt
- fit new belt adjust tensioner
- turn engine recheck tensioner
- refit all other components

took about five hours not done one of these before was awkward to remove the aux belt and setting up new tensioner is a pain. removing glow plug was pain too probably if you can turn engine over with out removing one try that instead as mine were seized in pretty solid and are a pain to access.

timing belt kit cost £125 from desira including new tensioner and roller. aux belt was £16 from local motor factors.
