I am trying to replace the oil in the gearbox of my 2003 2.3 JTD Ducato motorhome . I keep reading that you fill it via the gear box oil vapour breather opening . WHERE IS IT?
Does anyone know what it looks like and where on the gearbox it is located. All I can see is the reversing light switch and the drain plug .
Please help and thankyou .

If you have found the reversing light switch I would fill it through that as I have yet to find the oil vapour breather. I am told it takes 2.7 litres of the TUTELA ZC 75 Synth although it says 2 litres in many data books & the manual I think.
The local fiat dealer said they put the 2.7 in & you are supposed to only use the TUTELA ZC 75 Synth. There is a factory tool that is inserted into the hole where the speedo transducer goes to measure the quantity, but without that you need to measure how much you put in.
