I have a few small chips on the bonnet (possibly from stones?) and also a few parts were the paint looks like its been chipped but not come off

the primer looks ok, just thepaint that has come away

what is the best way to go about this?

touch up pen?

if so, which would you reccomend?

I did buy a halfords touch up pen kit. but it came out darker than my car. so be warned you can use a blade to cut the excess paint off which is easier than tryin to sand a fine line without takin the undamged paint off aswell from which I've experiance, which is why I need a spray can lol.

Im getting a spray can from a website next time but will test it on the bumpers incase it doesnt match.

can the spray canbe sprayed directly onto the car without sanding?

if i mask off the area around the 'chips' can i just spray it on?

I've got a similar problem. I rather stupidly rubbed some of the top layer of paint off my door with T-Cut (small area, no larger than 1-2cm.)

I'm not very car savvy - would I be best trying to spray over this?
