This is probably going to duplicate alot of the threads already but there seem to be so many different answers to a judder problem. I have a 04 reg punto and it occasionally judders when starting off from 1st gear and also occasionally when reversing. I have also noticed that it does a similar thing after a good old motorway run ie when slowing down on the slip roads. After a bit it sorts itself out and is fine...
Is this more likely to be a clutch problem or linked to head gaskets (which is not the answer i want!)... Thanks!

More likely to be clutch, do u here any whining or anything when stationary ???? but the juddering def. is the clutch

no, there is no noise or whining when stationery....

My Punto was juddering badly when engine heated up (motorway, city). Reasons were worn clutch disc and one of 6 bolts that hold pressure plate was missing.
