Don't currently have any issue with this - but it occurred to me that I have no idea how to reset the fuel pump!

Can anyone talk me through this?

I don't think it can be (or needs to be) reset.

I think you just press the big black button (which is somewhere around the centre console). I've not got a Sei with me at the moment (and I'm too tired to search through the factory manual).

The owners booklet shows something on the centre console - but I've had a damn good poke about under my dash and can't find anything that even vaguely represents it....

are you guys talking about stock seis?
Never heard of that switch to be honest

it is bolted on a bracket to the back of the bulkhead, behind the centre of the dash / centre console.

what's it used for really?

To begin pumping the fuel again in the event of a crash. The cut off stops fuel from leaking if pipes are split so there are no large explosions.

it doesnt pump anything.. it's just an intertia cut out off, cuts off the power to the fuel pump in the event of sudden impact.
