Hi im new to this forum , but it looks like the right place to be

I bought a used Punto a couple of weeks ago and the front bumper was in need of painting ( lots of stone chips ) so i took it off and rubbed it right down , primed then painted and lacquered , the next day i put it back on the car , but it was much lighter than the rest of the car , the paint code on the car is 132/f Rosso Scilla Red which is what i bought , im now wondering if the car has been resprayed a darker shade ? i have read some posts on the forum and now intend to go to Halfords to see if they can do a good colour match :chin:

Normally red cars are a shade lighter :lol: not darker!

Yep base red cars do have a problem with oxidisation , but this is metalic
