Hi all,
I hope you can help a newbie with a problem with a recently purchased motorhome.
There is bascily a leak around the sump and i mean the full perimeter.
I also suspected a oil seal but on inspecting further there seems to be a leak above the starter motor.There is a black plastic box whch im sure is the breather box(correct me if im wrong) and im sure this maybe a problem.
It is a 2.8 2003 with 91k on the clock.Although high for a motorhome i dont think it is high for the engine.
Question is do these breathers block as if this is the case there will be a pressure build in the sump causing all kinds of upset.

The van itself runs superb with no problems with economy starting or power problems.

Any input would be great as im a bit stumped at the moment and the drive is becoming a mess.

Is it coming from the back or front of the engine block?

Can you put an old paint roller tray under the leak when it's parked up on your drive.
Is the black box to which you refer on the front of the motor adjacent to the injection pump?
