Hello,

Just took my Mk1 (95) Punto to the garage to get the timing sorted out (its been pulling to the left) and apparently the right(I think he said right!) front shocker has gone/going.He's quoted £80 to sort it out, just wondering if anyone knows if this is about right or is it worth ringing around a bit more.

Cheers.

£80 dont sound too bad but i think you could probly get cheeper.

Welcome to the forum mate :)

My hubby is a mechanic and he sujests replacing both at the same time as if one has gone the other is likely to go B)

£80 sounds about right as well :)

if your short of cash go to breakers about £10-£20 for the shock and spring all built up, once the wheels off its only 4 bolts to remove, takes about 1/4 hour to do,
