Had a service done yesterday and got the following fault codes shown;

1/Air temperature sensor,
2/Air flow meter,
3/Turbo pressure.

So,
1/ is the air temp sensor the green plug on the thermostat?

2 & 3 i think relate to my remap and the odd warning i've had flash up as mentioned in previous posts. This stopped when i cleaned the maf connector a few weeks back.

Anyone have any opinons, Thanks

Your thermostat is to do with the water temperature

You air temp sensor is most likely in with your MAF sensor as Mass air flow and air temp (ie density) tells it what size chunks of air are going in to the engine so it would all seem related to the MAF.

There, wish you hadnt touched it now:)

It was only the connector i cleaned, haven't had the balls to clean the actual thing. I haven't had any more "beeps" though so maybe that did the trick

So you cleared the codes and they haven't popped up again? That'll be good:)
Had the codes cleared - YES........... haven't popped back up- DON'T KNOW but haven't had any warning messages.

where did you get the service done?
Roberts Aerospace & Automotive near Southampton. He's an independant Alfa/Maserati Specialist but he does work on Fiats too. He has all the specialist tools and his own examiner.
It's a bit far from you though Frank.

Yes, I'm afraid that I only use factory diagnostic equipment and tools - and having recently cleared out an old Fiat dealership of pretty much every special tool, manual, and bit of software they have, I'm pretty much Fiated up now!

I've also had a slight change of name as a) my old name was a bit of a mouthful, and b) I haven't designed an airliner for many, many, years now and am unlikely to do so again!

So, it's The Alfa Shed (http://www.alfashed.co.uk) now as I mainly do Alfas and Fiats.

Mike.
