I want to replace the washer jets on my 2001 Sporting for the type that spray a fan of water over virtually the whole screen. I've done this on a couple of cars but only when the jets aren't heated. Anyone done this?

I've never known a car to have heater washer jets.
Heated windscreens yes.....but never known heated jets.

Wow! I've only owned 2 cars that didn't have heated washer jets and I've had 17 cars! You need to buy some more cars!! Never once owned a car with a heated windscreen, pointless f ing things!
