I've noticed that the indicators like to self cancel too easily, especially on roundabouts and there are other threads on this subject.
Is it because we go the opposite way round roundabouts?
If you're driving on the right, signaling left round a roundabout, going anticlockwise, maybe the indicators wouldn't self cancel, because you're turning the wheel the opposite way??

I know exactly what you mean. It can get a bit irritating. I'll let you know if that is the case after my road trip next year!

I drove in France last year and I can't remember the indicators self cancelling like they do in the UK, but it was a year ago now.

Damned annoying - sometimes I can't get them to stay on, other times, they won't cancel & you can drive for miles whilst still indicating.

They could also do with a better audible sound as it's so easy to forget to cancel them.:bang:

yep self cancelling indicators do my nut in mind u its the only thing i dont like on the doblo so cant be bad

Never had a problem getting them to cancel! Mind you I often switch them off myself anyway. It's become second nature flicking the stalk again on roundabouts etc, not a problem once you get used to it.
