Does anyone know if a Fiat RCL relay module would work in a Sporting Cinq. I've found one on the net, but doesnt specifically say that it fits the Cinquecento. Fiat Part Number: 46001190

I'll let you know, I've just bought one off Ebay and I'm waiting for it to arrive. It should fit without too much problem as it's essentially just an electronic switch operated by the key fobs that 'fools' the motors into opening and closing by sending an electrical current down the motor wires that connects them.[8D]

one of my friends got a non-fiat one, that is basically a copy of the fiat design, and said it didn't work in his cinq, but works fine in sei's, I would have thought it'd work in both tho as there very similar

yes the central locking relay is under where the glovebox should b if fiat had finished the interior off!! a little white thing

There is a gray relay, and a larger black relay. Which one is it? The gray?

Ebay. mine cost £26 + postage. (hasn't arrived yet though!) Or you can buy it from FIAT or precisionalarms.co.uk for about £80[8D] It is just a box that plugs into your relay and a couple of key fobs.

RE this, did Cinq SX's not have remote central locking and alarms?

You could get said box from it could you not?

Dunno about the fob though any ideas?

Replacement key fobs from are more expensive than retro fit aftermarket upgrade kits. Depends if you want it to be 100% FIAT electricals. It's now arrived so I'll be attacking my wiring this weekend![8D]

It's in my sei. It works. Tried it in a mates cinq too and that's fine. I can now save 2 seconds off my car entry time![8D]
