Hello all,

my first post in this section (funny that, seeing as i drive a bravo )

My friend has a N reg mk1 punto GT which he has trouble starting.

When he turns it over the first time it will not start, just turns over.
as soon as the key turns the second time however it fires straight into life.

Anyone have any ideas why this would happen and how i can help him solve it?
My guess was a duff solenid but I'm no autoelectrician!

this isnt any use to you but i had a rover that was exactly same. 1st time car would just turn over never start. but as soon as stoped and then turned a 2nd time it would start straight away gauranteed. never could work out why.

loose coneection or earth? or prob solnoid
