New here need a little advice.
Just got a Punto sporting 16v with arbarth body kit in broom yellow.
Ive been reading the forum & it seems you have to have the fiat timing tools to do a timing belt on this engine, just had a look & they aint cheap so does anyone know of someone near Stratford on Avon that can do thos job at a reasonable price ?

they are cheap from shop4parts you only need the lockers, you can use dowl for the piston hight

So its just the cam locking tools & timing belt kit or do you think its worth changing the water pump while we're at it ?
I reckon about 2 hours does that sound about right ?
I got a mate that works for peugeot I'll probably get him to do it as my arthritis is giving me some grief at the minute.

i didnt do my pump. imo they should last till second belt change, touch wood.
yeah 2 hours should do it there a few more bits to take off than the 8v
