It was intended to be a summer meet but any of the dates below seem good

I say end of july. more likely for me to get a day/2 off work then and also not the beginning of july cause im on holiday with mates! Also in august im gonna be on holiday with the family sometime

Just a thought....we mite have to look at a big hotel or travel inn etc as little cheap b&b's are not gonna have enuff secure parking and will not be happy to take on a load of 'boy racers' (I know we are responsible but others may not see it that way when we turn up)

I agree that late May and early June is good as it'll be fairly quiet for us as the kids are still in school. Wouldn't like to be there in July/ August with the hotels full and kids swanning round!

Dunno where the fook it is, but theres loooaadddsss of hotels in Blackpool, their tourism website is great!

What I was thinking is big hotel, they cant really do anything if we all book under our own names and just happen to be part of a group (the fleet in the carpark isnt going to give it away). Found a few, incl one I was in last yr, v.posh but also expensive!

Well we also have the benefit of not being a 'single sex group', there being a couple of ladees going and all so that's added bonus points with the hotels etc.

Pontins could be good - more fun than a snooty hotel

Is it a full board only some pontins are?
pontins will be cheeper in may or September it will cost loads in June July and August.

i recon a hotel somewhere really near the peasure beach would be best... simply cause all the good stuff (well most) is around the pleasure beach area.

If we all book the hotel ourself in our own names then they cant mess anything up.

but if everyone books individually, no one person has to take responsibility with deposits etc...

its half board in the blackpool one, i been looking and low season is £35 a night, but thats if u go for 3 nites so about £105 for weekend.

I dont no if u can go for just a single nitght

Yes, but if we all book together, it might be possible to negotiate a discount. Dont worry about deposits, if we know far in advance, i can sort out a 'get deposit in' fund again

The trouble is Ben (and im not aiming this at any of you peeps in particular before you say it) you have to be careful...if you book it you may have to take full responsibilty for everyone and thats not fair on you..plus if we do all book in together and turn up around the same time they may think twice bout letting us actually stay there. If we book separately then you have no ties and it wont look sooo obvious...again only my thoughts tho folks

agreed, i got refused entry to pontins prestatyn. cause there was a group of all lads and they thought that we would cause trouble
