Just thinking,i used to be a member of the mini owners club and would get sent a quaterley Magazine about the club,members and their cars.also whilst browsing in my local cournershop whilst seeing mags such as "fast ford" etc, couldnt help but notice there was no magazine for fiats.would anyone else like a car mag devoted to just fiats?

I think it would be a great idea and a great mag. The amount of modified Fiats throughout the UK, the amount of Fiat enthusiasts and the amount of knowledge people have when it comes to Fiats I dont see why there would be any difficulty in making a good size mag

There's a lot of money to be had in that game you know... you'd need quite a few people though to get a mag going, unless you did a small Fiat Forum mag that you could send out to readers every month or 3 months for a small fee and maybe then just advertise it so people come on here to purchase their subscription and end up using the site

I talked about a fiat forum mag backstage ages ago, nothing actually came of it in the end as at the end of the day, to print and sell would be expencive and i doubt we would sell a great deal of copies, but to publish just on the net wouldnt really be a mag etc. Although its a starting point

I currently only get mags if I need to or if there free. like the auto express and freeway.

But If you want to start one then try getting some stories emailed to you and print a small page a5 mag to send out to fiat garages see how they like it. Get money in by advertising there garages inside. chartge them about £100 per advert and that will pay for the mags to go into there stores. If you can get a profesional looking prototype you might find likes of adsa may alow you to do a free drop point beside the tills. and if you localise it to just your area you could get fiats for sale and chage £3 per std ad and £5 per photo ad or somthing.

Yes, you could also run a little website alongside it with the same name obv as the mag, which would link back to forums, websites etc. so that people can come online and view the mag too and use this forum and other information. Much easier to publish online also so wouldn't cost anything over the top of the paper one

Put it this way, if it goes ahead guys then I'd be more than willing to do the Website part of things, would not be a problem for me have built many and can get good cheap hosting and domain names... Oh dear what have I let myself in for

Getting together the staff for the paper side of things is a little harder, as you'd probably all need to meet up at some point, unless you did everything over the internet? Could be the first revolutionary mag where everything is done over the internet

Being editor though I'm sure you could give it a go, and it'll give you a chance to learn a new skill, heck your posting on here so you can't be THAT bad you must have some understanding of a computer

I agree there's plenty of info here, but it wouldn't just be about the forum, would include features on peoples cars, shows etc... and it's not all about you it's also about the people who can't get on forums like this or even know about them or have a computer I'll make sure I send you 6 copies a month if it takes off though just in case hehe only joking Apple

if we want this to happen it'll take a while, i would recommend the editor, (HA HA) to start compiling (with the authors permission of course) articals based on projects on the site.

for example... erm.. god theres hundreds...

also your going to have to decide what your going to have on it.

Is it going to be like Fast Ford, mainly a modding mag, just for fords, or more like auto italia, about the history, and new fiats etc...

just a thought, but if it's an online mag, RSS feeds, would be a nice feature
