Have you heard from anyone since? (with the exception of myself?)

Still waiting on a day when it doesn't rain so that i can make some guides. Doesn't help that i broke my camera (Hey, do you want a guide on how to replace the lens unit on a sony cybershot!! )

Yo folks - im thinking something like this, this is some examples of the work I have done in the last few months for my employers:

Ofcourse this is published online to help the public gain easy access to the documents. These publications are also released in hard copies.

Still intrested in being involved the only thing is i aint any good at doing stuff with the car, i mean dont get me wrong i will be gerrin Alloys for it. The only thing i am lookin at doing myself is gettin a Carputer sorted for it, but that is going to take some time to do it but i have some ideas for it!

this is what we were aiming for.


i have to admit, i'm not amazing with photoshop, so if someone wants to come up with some designs that would be wicked.

currently this is what i whacked together.

i'd like to keep the logo, but feel free to post designs up here then the best one we will use

infact even better, email them to [email protected] and once i've got 4 or 5 decent ones i'll put a vote thread together.

even if you dont think your amazing chuck one together, content isn't important, but have some text so we can see fonts etc, and for now just steal any images from the forum or wherever.

i'm sure many of you can better my design. so get going... yes now...

One issue a MONTH! thats crazy! being realistic i'd say a quarterly magazine would be the best bet. Then we could gather lots of content and have some time to play with regarding design - resulting in a bigger better mag.

I think a magazine is a good idea in theory, but the dynamics behind one are painful; deadlines, hi res images, etc. It takes a while to put a magazine together properly, not just the content but the design also.

Then there is always the cost.

Would there be enough interest for a monthly or even quarterly seeing as nearly everything is on FF anyway.

Think you're probably right, spent too much time at work thinking about graphics and print costs :bang:

Aye the thing is there is a fair few of us who can put forward stuff, would it be in like a ...........Fck i have forgotten what the program is called that you can turn it into like a Magazine thing......Acrobat Reader - or its something like that!

I used to love buying car mags back in the day, fast ford, classic ford, etc. as well as Fast car, max power, but as I am no longer a ford person, and not young or wadded enough to buy fc or mp, I dont bother at all. I think they are all overpriced nowadays, too many adverts in them.

I agree in principle that a fiat mag would be good, as long as it featured an even mix of fiats through the years to present, both standard and modded.
