So whats the problem?

I changed those rubbish rust easy motorcrafts with Bosch Super 4s - nice mid range plugs your thinking but the machanic said they are too rich for my car!?!?! Its a 4 cylinder 1.3 8v duratec from a KA (i know i know its the missus car)

What do you think? I he lying? Can a plug be too good?

No such thing as too rich spark plug. Only the wrong heat range. There will be an equivalent to an ngk somewhere i would have thought somewhere in bosh range. Should be fine. As far as rich price wise well if you don't feel the sting in your wallet, whats the deal...

ill tell you something though, these thin tipped plugs you can find are absolute crap

as a general rule of thumb never use bosch plugs, halfords sell them for a start so what does that say. i've seen more than a few cars run rough on bosch plugs after fools go to halfords for servicables. if someone services their car and then call me asking what they've done wrong the first thing i ask is the make of plugs they used. you cant beat ngk on almost every car. use the ngk website to find the model number for the plugs you need and get them instead. if you cant tell the difference i'll shave my head.
