Summer planning. I either buy the grande punto in the summer..but then i have to live at home for a few years or leave the car for a bit longer and try get a flat somewhere and then buy the car at a later date

What do you think i should do?

If you move out of your parents' into your own gaffe, you won't be able to afford a new car, so I would get the GP immediately and still get all my cooking and cleaning done for free(y) :D

I would still have to do my own cooking and cleaning at home and pay rent

what grande punto would we be talking about?

At the minute the 1.3 multijet, think its in active form, but im hoping for more guises of it by the time summer comes round, or whenever i purchase it.

Depeneding on finances the 1.9 could be a possibility but at the minute the 1.3 is winning

No it is ****e

i wouldnt mind the 1.9 sporting however. Ill have to wait and see, this poll will help with my final descision

It depends whether you're talking about buying a flat or renting a flat.
If you're talking about renting, then get the car, as otherwise you're just spending money and getting nothing tangible for it.
If you're talking about buying, then nice as the Punto is, get the flat, as it'll depreciate less, and may even appreciate in value. Also, if we have another housing price boom, you probably wouldn't be able to afford to buy anywhere - it's bad enough now.

Well said :)

Get the car, enjoy yourself whilst you can plenty of time to be old and sensible later.

Well, if the Sei is fine then I'd say stick with that for now and look towards a property. Then you'd have your own place and a car (Unless your sei is going towards it?)

Why do you need a brand new car.

Get the flat, and a second hand mk2 punto.
