Right, i need to know wether or not when i get around to refurbing these alloys i ahve, wether or not to spray them in the antracite colour that the GT alloys come with. Im pretty sure that they would look good, but when i posted in the punto section i forgot to put up a poll

Hopefully i should get more answers here too :)

They would be done properly as part of my fathers garage facilites include alloy wheel refurb equipment such as shot/snad blasting with different grades of grit, spray booth even polishers for metal etc... So Respray as standard colour refurb or repsray as refurb with antracite colour :D

Be honest as possible thankyou

P.S. The wheels are fox racing 15" and although i bleive them to be 8" wide, they are apparantly 7" so until i get chance to measure.... :p

P.P.S. Please post a reason why to spray or not to spray in either colour thankyou (y)

how is that not individualism? or "indivualism" as you mispelt it :p

i want to customise them to what i think would look good but wondered if others would think were good as its not cheap to make this mistake and although i have an open mind, theres no harm in others saying what they think. :p

Erm... centre caps..... well hey only came with one as i got ehm included in the price of the car, and it was painted so i wiped it with thinner and it came off so i sourced two more and two more stickers that go on them with red fox racing on, i just need one more centre cap and one more of the red stickers for round the rim - Nearly there

alloys always measure wider though, i dunno why...

?!? i wont be measuring the tyres if thats what you mean, as if they have dished side walls / curb protectors then its obviously gona muck it up. I measure tehm by vernier with spacers to clear the tyre and then minus the spacer thickness, or via odd legs and distance between, you're prob right im just sure i've measured them before and they said 8", remember these alloys are prob near the age of the car

I decided today that a decent colour for the alloys that reasembles anthracit alloys from the GT, i am going to spray the strut brace i made to match, then just paint my calipers and drums to as near to the silver bodywork as possible. Im looking forward to this little project i have lined up for myself :)

Your cars silver? I thought it was a moroon kinda colour... Forget me.

Red and silver would look good :)

Red and silver do look good, but i have it in my head this will look great (y)

and if it dusnt, meh! i can re-paint them another colour!

So charlie, whats the added twist with painting your calipers then?!?

And Uno, why arent you painting them red now?

We're the silver car crew ( solid :slayer: )
