the rover wont have the b16 in it though i shouldnt think.

No, I don't think it has either. I know for sure that the 216 is Honda engined, but something tells me that the 2 litre is Rover :)

2L engines are either the M or T Rover series engines, not Honda, only engine that was Honda was the 1.6L.

I like the Tom Cat rover especially the 220 Turbo, really fast car, good looking as well, i also like the CRX apart from the interior as its really horrible in the way only a 80's designed jap car can be, and TBH they are not that great to drive, as are the civics from that period.

and the interior isnt that bad in the vti`s, was a bit crappy in the valvers but meh.

the best part is the heaters :D jap heaters are truely awesome..

Yeah i drove a V-tec CRX about 10years ago when i was looked at buying a new car, i drove it in the same week as a Golf GTi 16V MK2, Pug 205 1.9GTi and an R5GTT, was a nice car, fast on cam, gutless low down, but the interior was 'orrid, really let it down. Also driven a 96 Civic tho it was a VTi model and it was really dull, yes it was easy to drive, looked pretty good as well, but oh so dull.

If you want good heaters believe it or not the MK4 Escort had in its day the fastest heating up car in the world as my mates Dad designed the engine when he worked for NEL (National Engineering Labourites) as they did lots of consultancy work for the major car manufacturers. it also meant my mate had to get a MK4 Escort as his first car as his dad wouldn't let him buy anything else sighting that he designed the engine so I know how everything works, and can fix anything if it goes wrong, can't really argue with that can you, lol

Didn't it have a reputation of being a bit of a ditch-hunter? I "met" one of these a few months ago (while the Coupe was working  ). I kept having to lift off to avoid driving in to the back of it ;) It put up a fair fight though :)

yeah the torque steer on them is fearsome, but why lift off, why not go round it, its always easy to catch a car, but to go past and pull out a lead is the difficult bit ;)
