My opinion

Private Plates = good idea.

I couldn't be bothered to keep forking out £160 a time for un registering and re registered cars when you come to sell and buy another car. Unless, its a really special number plate. But on the - £99 i don't see the point.

DVLA registrations.co.uk are the cheapest and include the £80 transfer fee.

Incidently N.I registrations are not Irish plates. Southern Ireland are Irish plates. It can get confusing if you ask for Irish plates.

Being that i got into cars through classic cars originally, i think that its your cars plate is like its name and shouldn't be changed. Its like adopting a child, you don't change the name, its already got one.
VWX466L & TSA465K are both old cars of mine (still have latter) and so long as it don't change i'll be able to find my first car one day if i'm feeling sentimental.

Gr8 if uv gt the money. id luv 1 bt i cnt say its a nessecity.

Whats everyones opinion on them?

A load of tat or a good addition to a car?

Personally i like them... :spin:

A load of 5H ITE and 80L LOX. Who cares what the number plate says. It's the car that gets the admiring glances.
