My current car is known as Custard (male...i think), my last Broom Yellow Cinq Sporting was called Zippy (again male), however, my Cinq SX before it was called Betty. I dunno why my sportings have been male, I guess they feel like testosterone injected and grunty compred to the 899cc. Not sure though.

I hesitate to say this but I think Shabash! must be male even though I refer to her as a "She". Why? Well Shabash! is not tempermental, has no problems with cold mornings and heats up at the turn of a knob. ;)

Generally my cars names are non-gender specific (Skippy, Beaver, Dummy, Shabash!) so it's difficult to tell.

my cars most definatly a she, shes tempermental, likes to be looked after and doesnt like the cold :p no name tho

The Doblo is called Desiree:

1. "Honest John" describes them as looking like a pastiche of a 1930's hotel bus - which is very true.

2. Lady Winifred Fortescue had a FIAT in provence in the 1930's she named Desiree because the car was "desired, nay longed for - but found not" and given the trouble I had finding a second hand one (and then getting it from the delaer because they took two weeks to replace the cracked windscreen) it was most appropriate.

Either that or it's "that preposterous car" every time I see it in a car park.

Definately female- blows hot and cold like shes got pmt,or just cant decide if she likes me- second engine,3rd clutch,2nd ecu,2nd alternator,2nd starter...

Think i'll call her shed (n) :D
