I've been offered a one owner low mileage Panda Fizz for cheap money that needs some work (pretty much a weeks welding and paint).

I've wanted a white Panda since I did that Martini stripe MS Paint-shop ages ago...

...but such a low mileage well serviced car would be worth a lot more if I restored the old girl.

So do I...

Restore

or

Build a Race Car?

I'm not going to "flip" the car or do a few basic wheeler dealers repairs and sell the car "fully restored" I am no profiteer. If I was I would have taken £3,000 for my Fantasia ages ago.

I'd honestly go racecar. If it is street legal and you could have far more fun with it!
Get some cool vinyls and such - would be more to show than a fully restored (whilst impressive) car :)

Blue I think. I've known the car all my life as it belongs to my next door neighbors Mother in law.

Picking the car up tomorrow. :slayer:

Ta-daaaaaa!

The interior is immaculate...

...the fuel injected engine runs like a sowing machine and the five speed box is smooth as a 10,000 mile let alone a 108,000 mile car. :)

A tiny scab on the passenger door...

...but a blocked drainage hole has caused a build up of moisture inside the inner sill up to the seat belt anchor.

The usual one owner folder full of receipts, history, every M.O.T and service stamp.

I'm looking forward to getting her done so I can sell my Merc' and buy Fantasia parts.

Off to Stoke tomorrow to collect a pair of sills so hopefully I'll be able to make a rear quarter sill plate and get the Fizz on the road by the end of the month. :)

The first M.O.T job and a little cosmetic work tomorrow and I'm thinking about thread titles.

Get Fizzie-cal

Get busy with a Fizzie

Clean looking car, I would definately go for a full resto back to original..
