leave the block silver.... get all the covers u can polished or chromed, then all the leads / hoses possible red...

I think you should do it all Kwak-a-sami Green so it stands out in the black engine bay.
Then complement it with blue silcone hoseing everywhere and blue Magnecor's.
OK thats a bit extreme, but no else has done it

Aleady have Red leads though....
