I'm 100% against hitting women and yes I felt sorry for the guy when he received 2 years. Given the circumstances 2 years was too much IMO.
I'm against pick pocketing, but I would feel sorry for someone who got 10 years for it ....

you are reading stuff that isn't there again, he was called as a witness to court, he has only posted what he saw same as he would have had to say in court, he hasn't said that it was expectable, you people who say its ok to defend your self have.

yes that is what Shadey me and others have said from the start, his warning of what could happen was for the people who voted yes and/or posted that it was ok to hit a woman

My opinion is 2 years is not enough for the damage this thug caused.
no the reason he felt a bit sorry for the guy was because the woman started the fight, and if it was another man he had done the same damage too he would have got less than 2 years. as well have all seen on the news before when 2 men have been fighting.

Women that say hit me to a man have never actually been hit, if they had they wouldn't be asking for it to happen again.
We(men) have a huge advantage over women when it comes to fighting, a man that hits a woman has proven nothing except that he's a bully IMO.

Did I actually feel sorry for him, yes a little. He was in complete shock at what he'd done, he never moved an inch until the old bill arrested him.
Did I think his sentence was harsh, yes. A year would have been more suitable IMO. He was a nice guy, never caused any trouble in the club. I spoke to one of his sisters after he was sentenced, he was doing well at uni and had never been in trouble before. His family were devastated.
