I voted differently from local and county/general. I done poll for the latter.
There is a school of thought that voting Labour in the local election and Conservative in the general election would be the best way to go.

I wonder how many people who voted BNP in the poll actually DID vote BNP?
My contention in an earlier thread that rather than spoil a ballot one should vote for almost anyone, even if that meant the BNP, because even if they won a couple of seats (unlikely) they would certainly lose them at the next election.

Just voted in the poll on this thread and seen the results. Interesting. If this thread was the actual General election, Labour would have been 4th with half as many seats as the BNP! Oops.

BNP!and proud of it,but for all of the right reasons, they may never ever get into number 10 , we need to realise that we have to close the borders , preserve our way of life!there is a plaque here which me must cure or we will all become infected.:worship:

WTF? close the borders? then how we going to get the foreigners in to do all the "menial" work that the british people think below them? Problem with our country is not immigrants, it's lazy benefit scroungers who get paid to stay at home, or in the pub.

you were having a laugh right?

could put the pay up so you get more than on the dole? would save on the health care as the people on the dole already using that with out paying stamp

Maybe you need to see a dentist then? :bang:

Not sure who's way of life you want to preserve. All these dole scum living off my taxes and breeding faster than even their own stupidity can kill them off? No thanks. Get to work or get to Falkirk!

Can you give me an example of a menial job please? Part of the problem must be down to the employer. They want cheap convenient labour and illegal immigrants can provide that by undercutting minimum wage. The dodgy employer will also not be paying NI tax plus they can hire and fire staff on a whim no redundancy pay or unfair dismissal problems for the employer in this case im sure.

I think there is more menial work paid legaly than illegal work. Think farm hands, builders etc. Much of it minimum wage manual labour. A lot of people would rather dole it than work.

Better still, put the dole down, or stop it all together, and feed them from soup kitchens. I've seen plenty of people saying "I ain't doing that for £6 an hour, better off on the dole"

Believe the Tories are thinking about if someone can work, but choices not to, then their benefits get stopped/cut.

Don't think I would be proud of not having a job, would be embrassed to say I was on the dole lol.

The welfare system should be there to save you if you end up on your arse. It shouldn't be a lifestyle choice! Pay them in food vouchers - and make it healthy food too so we don't have them going from the dole to invalidity benefit due to being fat lard arses.

there is no invalidity benefit in the uk

there is dla, and that is paid if you work or not, so people don't have to not work to get it
