The Stig - You have F1ATM on retention?! That has got to be worth a bomb!

Never, ever, sell that. (Well, at least not till Fiat go bankrupt ;) but I doubt that will be any time soon) In 20 years or so you will be looking at a serious price for that plate.

I saw AWE550M on a Lambo the other week. Looked really neat.

I was looking at F14 TCK, and spacing it so it reads 'F14T CK' . CK being my initials. However I think that can wait! (y)

the retention cert runs out soon, thinking of putting it on my (other)panda,
or sell it,(mind you, it would be a good pension fund :)):worship:

I dont understand the ones with random letters and somebodies initials or ones that are complete Gibberish.
Really good ones and ones that have something obvious in like like 5TIL0 or S13. I almost bought a civic when i was younger that came with H8NBA. The car was going for like a couple of grand. Wish i had of bought it now i bet thats worth a mint.

Here's my plate

Ive found my perfect reg plate and its only £250 and thats including transfer fee but i was wondering if i bought it but obviously it has a space in the middle of it like 3 and 3 if that makes sense but if i was to go get another plate printed up from say halfords or somewhere like that without the space there, would that still be legal or is it a legal requirement to have the space in the middle?
Thanks, Andy

It would be illigal.

I have FR03 EBO but need a newer car to put it on :(

I (we) have a private plate. We got it a couple of years ago.

My wife's name is Liz and our surname is 4 letters long. We have the number plate L13 and the three letters are three of the four from our surname eg LNG if our surname were Long. We have an O in our surname and have the number plates correctly fitted with screws with white or yellow screw caps .... and a screw between the two letters where the O is missing that has a black screw cap. eg L13 L(o)NG. Illegal? Who knows? It doesn't change a letter at all ... it just sits between two letters and has a black screwcap!!

cost?(a small amount? i remember when i bought it from the DVLA instead of them a small amount was 200 pounds to get it for me ) but think i will keep the plate for now.:worship:
