If you know a product is tested on animals does it stop you from buying it or do you not care????

nope, doesn't bother me. Animal testing is not what the animal rights terrorists will have you beleive about poking fluffy animals in the eyes with bleach.

Sadly it's exactly what the animal right activists would have you believe, I have a very good friend who recently gave up their job in the labs because they couldn't cope seeing the pain involved in testing these products on animals. That's why i have made the poll to see what other people think about it.

Personally, I think they should do the testing on Arsenal supporters instead :p

I love my animals dont get me wrong but I dont check labels to see whether it has or not been tested on animals.

I dont necessarily agree with the testing because i think the animals are left to suffer and its not very humane. I do however think Its better than myself or a family member suddenly discovering something horrifically wrong with a product.

Knowing something has been tested on animals wouldnt put me of buying it. I think id feel safer buying it tbh. At least the animals didnt die for nothing i suppose. i bet that makes me sound horrid?!

does it still make you feel safer buying a product tested on animals if you were aware that most animals have a different reaction to these chemicals than humans do. so the company does not know if it will cause a bad reaction to humans untill it is tested on human.

don't check labels as I mostly know which companies don't test and/or are BUAV approved.

i also make sure any products i use are veggie. that includes which toothpaste i use:yuck:

there's a difference between animal testing of medicines than the animal testing of cosmetics/domestic products. medicine testing while still not a nice thing at least has some sort of justification.

i do buy some food which i'd hope is tested on animals, but that's meant for my dog!:p
