Depends on how long your daily commute is IMO. It seems daft to me to have a daily commute car when you have another tow car which is perfectly capable of said daily commute in the first place. I thought the reason why you didn't sell the Vectra was because you want a tow car for Burple. Also you must have been thinking along similar lines, otherwise this thread wouldn't exist because you haven't been given an offer you can't possibly refuse for the black'un, have you?

no its only a couple of hundred ive been offered, so def refusable.
My commute is 30 mile round trip.

the vec wud probably swallow lots more fuel.....obviously depending on the type of roads u use..wat are u currently using the vex for???and the cinq for???

If cinq is in good condition I would stick it on autotrader for a decent price and if somebody makes you a good offer take it, if not you have lost a little ££ on advert.

If you want a quick sell stick it on ebay; £300-£500
If you want a good price stick it on autotrader; £400-£600

Prices are what I reckon mine should get (perfect cond 50K 1997)
Obviously would depend on what state yours is in.

The only reason to sell for less than value is if you need to. If your thinking that you don't need it hold out for £££s

rite.... the vec gets 23 mpg, the cinq 46, exactly double. The cinq costs me £20 a week on fuel - the vec would be £40. So keeping the cinq saves me £80 a month. The insurance is £36 and the tax is £10 a month, so on the assumption i dont need to spend £408 a year on maintenance - it is more finacially viable to keep the cinq...is it?
