It is indeed true. Cats are classed as wild and dogs are domestic. Sheep and cows are also classed as domestic/cattle so you have to report it if you hit them too. Although if you go ploughing into a cow at 60mph you probably won't be able to report it:bang:

to be fair if you hit a sheep the chances are you were tanking it so you wont get away with that lightly!. dont take much weight to do a lot of damage at speed (n)

Dogs all the way. A lot (note, not all) of cat owners are lazy and can't be bothered to take them out for a walk. They just let them wander and kill birds. We had a rat in the back garden a couple of years ago which got into one of the houses and then into the lofts. From there it managed to get into all the cavity walls. When it went outside, did one of the dozen or so cats in the area get it? But Digby the most hideous dog in the world did.

I prefer dogs. This my white Staffy Bandit

This is Bandit when my partner decided to give him a 'mono brow' So that he looked like one of his mates haha

And the other half likes cats. He had a cat Sammy but she went missing a few months ago and hasnt turned back up. She was an indoors cat and rarely went out

Have you thought that Bandit may have eaten Sammy?
Also, is that a baby near Bandit? I`d be very careful about leaving a dog like that near a child....

I would say i prefer dogs over cats but I personally wouldn't have either. Only say that because I like rockies, but they are extremely protective and I don't know if they could be totally trusted around kids etc

Oh it's not mine. Can only wish I had the money for one! Maybe in a few years time when most of the floor boards are down... don't want to have to play 'find the cat under the floor'

That Maine Coon looks interesting. Bikers leathers required for feeding tablets and aplying flea liquid! :D
