The mrs is pesturing me for another baby.I dont think its a good time being in a recession to try for another baby we both have good jobs the mrs works 3 days a week me full time we have a big 4 bedroom end tericed house(on a morage) so plenty of room for another we have a daughter whos 18mtns old allready. Im 24 n shes 21 do u think were to young for a big family????????

i depends really if you feel like another baby just yet.. you best sit down with your wife and discussing it first..

its somthing which you two have got to decide between yourselves.

its not like saying... which alloys for my car as you cant change them after a few months remember.

my god! I'm 25. 26 in January, and my GF just turned 25, and we're no where near ready for kids! Got a house we're completely doing up, so kids are a no no for me! especially as i want to spend 30k on a double garage, build a kit car, buy a conservatory, buy more cars, and buy a rolex lol

Put it this way... When they're hitting their rebellious years do you want to be fit - or old? I know people having kids at all ages. Some near 40 with 4 year olds. When the kids are 15 they'll be heading towards 60.

but.... you already have one, so youve commited to having a family regardless, wether it be one, two or twenty!
If your having doubts, and enough of them to post on a car forum... then don't do it, sit down with her and discuss your concerns. You are both still very young.

if u planning on more kids then in my opinion, sooner is better than later. when your 18 month old is older and say in her teens, you can start to have a bit more of a life again. do you want to be tied down to another baby and start all over again? If your in your 20's now, by the time your 40 then you can get your freedom back again if you know what i mean. Plus you can keep your daughter's toys and other bits and bobs to save money for a new baby!

Im 22 and my partner is 24. I have a 13 month old daughter and id like another baby whereas my partner wants to wait till he is in his 30's before having kids of his own (hes not the biological father of my daughter). I want to get the kids over and done with so they will grow up together instead of a big age gap, Then they will be both be ready to fly the nest when im in my 40's so still young enough to have a free life again.

Its a personal decision though and you both need to agree on it.

My mum had both my brother and me by 22

My mum's just turned 40 and has a good social life.

Its nice having parents that are still young as the relationship I have with my mum is like having an older sister its awesome.

I went to school with people whose parents are now in their 60's and 70's and are still so old fashioned and that scares me as my nan isnt even that old.

My mum was 20 when she fell pregnant with me (or was it 21). my dad is 6 months older then her.

she had my sister when she was 24, and my other sister when she was 27 so she was quite a young mum

Same I was nearly four months old

my mum was 22 when she had my bro, my dad was 20 had me 2 years later. It was normal back then, but nowadays alot of people are waiting a little later. For example my dad was married at 19!

I wanna wait till late twenties before marriage or kids

Well i'm 41 today and Tom is 24, I have a 10 year old daughter from my first marriage and a 6 month old.

I wish i'd have had another child closer to the first, but life doesnt happen like you expect it to sometimes!

I'm glad i've got another baby now, even though i'm classed as an older mother, what the hell, I have more patience now.

Tom didnt plan to have children for a few years, until he was in a good job after leaving uni, but my biological clock was ticking so we went for it now and he doesnt regret it.

If you've got the money to be able to provide and you are settled then what's stopping you? Like has been said though, any doubts then talk about them to your other half.

wait till the country is back on its feet etc, save up some money etc then go for it

ask a friend who is an only child,kids like you need playmates if you have friends and family for you baby to have company with that's good if you child only has you 2 for fun then you need another !!! providing you can afford to care for a new baby with time and money that is.
