At home and bored so i've come up with this.........
Everyone puts down what they think from personal experience is the most un-reliable car then it goes to the shortlistings

Then a poll to decide will be made.

Probably been done before and really boring but hey should help pass the time!

I'm gonna start it off with................

Lancia Y10 more specifically Y10Turbo!

Austin Maestro, my dad was forced to have one as a company car, and it never worked... ever, it just sat on the drive untill Avis came and took it away to replace it with another! Whats more they're horrible, ugly, they sound like sewing machines build quality is shoddy on a good day. I could design a better car... (new thread me thinks)

How about the Delorean. Famously bad, they spent most of their time in bits.

Ah yes, but it did run on rubbish, and could fly, time travel... what more could you ask for from a car?

Lada Samara? Lada Riva?

Laguna's! Yip Steve, even ones your Dad doesn't own are rubbish as are Peugeots, Citroens.

Hmmmm, it's a toughie

Old school choices would be

Austin Allegro

Morris Ital

Austin Princess

I could go on.

Austin Allegro, in a year the head gasket went twice, alternator failed, starter motor, clutch slave cylinder, driveshaft, brake servo not to mention bad starting and electrics etc! And, ours was a good one!
BTW, Marinas are brilliant, so dont slag em off!
However, the worst car IMHO was the Ford Corsair 1.7 and 2 litre V4s, terrible to drive, crap engines, crap interiors, crap bodywork and as stylish as a bar of soap!

Found On Roadside Ditches!

An 1988 Ford Escort 1.4 Popular Plus, gave me nowt but trouble, inherited in 1992 from an elderly relative who had it from new in 1988. It came with only 31000 miles on the clock, this car should have been torched as it came off the production line!

beleive it or not a Y Reg alfa 156 it was an awful company car my dad had for one night when his saab was in for repair. No one liked to drive it at the company because something went wrong with it every time it went out. Its just left round the back of the workshop now because it broke down and no one can be bothered to fix it. Quite sad really for such a nice looking car

In my experience I would have to say either every Ford or every red car. I know neither make sense, but I won't be having either again, if I can help it. Overall I would say the least reliable car ever built was the Triumph TR7.
