AA are crap
they sent a guy out and he said the van was ****ed and we should just buy a new van
it was only an alternator tensioner or something simple

the guy they sent to pick it up told us the exact cause
,,,
case 2
mum gets flat tire on slip road (woman drivers too busy groping so she couldnt change it herself cause she would have died)

so she phoned AA
your not with us you will have to pay 86 pounds
turns out her number plate was out by one letter
she gave the correct membership numbers and everything
but because of this they wanted her to pay again

inbetween ym dad arriving to do it

3 other vehicles stopped
Ice cream man, taxi driver, student so 2 had stuff to loose

then there's a 3rd reason but i forgot it.

anyways i asked for a apology for my mum
i had to give them the exact details of what happened
why cant a company just say sorry, they might have kept our membership

RAC
no chance of what happened to my mum
They sent individual (posted in one letter) but addressed by number plates letters
ensuring the number plates are correct

overall i love slagging AA off now
There top along side Creative for poor customer service and lack of oppologys
and adrian flux
cheap 1st year insurance made a mistake didnt add commuting when said many times tried to charge us for there mistake but thats for a difffrent area.

creative never send stuff directly to them for repairs if its ligitimate
6 weeks without my mp3player and quite a bit of lost data

RAc a mate of ours work for em he had a look at the van so its a loyalty thing as well even tho he didnt get any commission

I need to vote for more than one option  I have Green Flag which used to cover the Fiat and now covers Bismarck and has been used for both and have been very helpful (especially when I hit a fence post lying across the motorway and got a covered truck to drive me the 120 miles home as I had a blown tyre and who knew what damage to steering, suspension etc). Blancmange is now covered by Adrian Flux via my insurance but I've never needed them as the car's been SORNed ever since.

I with my mums breakdown company. That being, if i break down, i have a look see if i can fix it myself, then get on the fone "mum, its broke again, im on such-and-such road, remember the towbar."

Similarly, my girlfriend is with my breakdown company... "matt its broke, tow it to yours and fix it"

EDIT: That made my cars sound bad lol. I've actually only needed a tow twice - once when i bought the orange punto as it was a non-runner, and then one time when the clutch slave cylinder bust.
